Day Adventures
Lilypad Adventures offers day trips for every skill level. New to paddling? Our half-day float covers about three hours on the Chipola and works well for families with younger kids. Want more river time? The full-day trip stretches to about seven hours with lunch on the bank. Shuttles, boats, and life jackets are included.
Overnight Stays
Planning a guys' weekend, family reunion, or quiet couples' retreat? Stay in one of our riverfront cabins with campfires, grills, flat-screen TVs, and air conditioning. The Chipola is steps from your porch. See photos, rates, and cabin layouts on our Overnight Stays page.
Book Your Adventure
We host church groups, scout troops, birthdays, and family reunions on the Chipola. Choose a single day of fishing and picnic stops, or book cabins for the weekend. Trips fill quickly in season, so reserve at least 24 hours ahead when you can.
What to Expect on the Chipola
Lilypad Adventures sits on Highway 2 in Campbellton, about an hour northwest of Tallahassee. Most guests launch from our dock for a calm, spring-fed stretch of the Chipola. Water levels change with the season, so our staff confirms put-in and take-out spots when you book. Spring and fall weekends are busiest, while weekday floats are often quieter.
Bring sunscreen, water shoes, and a dry bag for phones and keys. For a full packing list, see our What to Bring guide. We supply kayaks, canoes, paddles, and life jackets. Fishing is popular along the banks, and you may see deer, otters, or bald eagles. After your paddle, browse trip photos on our gallery page or ask about guided quail hunting in season.
